Description
- Front side. A Scholar figure in a braided, finely grooved robe, holding in one hand an inscribed plate (“Have mercy on Ghazar”), and in the other an inkwell with a pen. Following the scholarly figure are two woven cross motifs placed beneath arches. The scene is framed with an elegant braided ornament band.
Back side. Triple arches, beneath masterfully worked columns, contain various cross motifs. The entire carved surface is enclosed within multiple layered ornament bands.
Lateral sides. Both sides bear stylized crosses.
Upper side. Concave, with traces of a one-line inscription that has not been deciphered.
