Description
- Late 17th century (1689) cradle-shaped tombstone, small in size. Belongs to Evaz, grandson of Tamur and son of Shahzat (Armenian Lapidary, Pr. 4, № 936 inscription).
Front side. A horseman is depicted holding the reins of his horse, accompanied by another figure with hands placed on his waist. Between the horseman and the second figure is a jar and part of the inscription, which likely did not fit within the main framing band. The composition is bordered with the inscription.
Back side. Beneath two arches are non-identical crosses. The northern face is enclosed within a rope-plaited ornament band.
Lateral and upper sides. Empty.
