Geghhovit tapanakar 19-1
Description
- Rectangular parallelepiped tombstone without inscription.
Front side. Similar to the Geghhovit 19-2 example, the sculptor presented the deceased at the center, arms crossed on the chest and wearing a crown, building the entire composition around his figure. Surrounding him are jars with eternity symbols and floral ornament, another jar with a single handle, a round table laden with food, round plates, and what seems to be an object resembling a whip.
Back side. Cross motifs beneath monumental triple arches.
Lateral sides. On one side only is a carved cross.
Upper side. Empty.
