Description

  • Cradle-shaped tombstone without inscription.

Front side. After the image of a riderless horse appear two dragon-serpents entwined with one another, their tails interwoven and transformed into an elegant ornament. In this case the paired dragons symbolize good and serve a protective function. Following them are vessels with floral motifs, jars, plates, and small loaves. The sculptor separated the deceased, depicted with arms crossed on the chest, from the rest of the composition with a dividing line.

Back side. Cross motifs beneath a triple arch.

Lateral sides. On one side only is a cross executed in deep carving technique.

    Upper side. Empty.
