Description
Front side. A 17th-century (1669) tombstone belonging to Yeghi, son of Papakhan, who was unlawfully killed. The sculptor has composed the scene very simply, depicting in the center the deceased playing a double-stringed saz, wearing an interesting head adornment. The inscription completely frames the tombstone.
