Description
Cradle-shaped tombstone placed on a pedestal, belonging to Natar. The tombstone was erected by Zorap (Armenian Lapidary, Pr. 4, № 1518 inscription).
Front side. Divided by two separating lines are cross motifs, and in the central section a scene of animal combat is depicted.
Back side. Under four columned arches are elongated cross motifs. The composition is framed with a plaited-rope band.
Lateral sides. The eastern side preserves a six-line inscription, while the western side bears a high-relief stylized cross.
Upper side. Of particular interest, the upper part depicts the deceased with arms crossed on the chest, wearing a crown-like headdress and earrings hanging from the ears. The section of the feet is significantly eroded.
