Description

Front side. The carved surface depicts two figures, a woman and a man. The woman, with long braids, is shown with her hands crossed on her chest. Beside her stands a bearded man wearing a three-lily crown. Near him is a carved musical instrument (duduk or flute), and in his hand he holds a mace-like object. The scene also includes a wool-beating rod and a shear-like tool for sheep shearing, which are especially valuable as evidence of the importance of rural economy and crafts. The composition ends with the image of a wild goat. The entire scene is bordered by a plaited-rope ornament.

Back side. Four niches contain cross motifs, and the whole surface is framed with a plaited-rope ornament.

Lateral sides. Each lateral plane is carved with cross motifs.

Upper side. Concave in form, outlined at the center, and ending in a stepped section at the edges.
